Visit us over Easter...

School's out! But Stella Maris is still open throughout the Easter holidays should any potential parents like to come and tour the school with a view to enrolling their son or daughter after Easter or as of September 2013.

We have limited pupil places available across most year groups - please contact the school office for details or to ask questions at any time, we'd be happy to help!

Alternatively should you wish to see Stella Maris in action during a regular working day, you can simply drop into one or both of our next open events;

Thursday 18th April 2013 1pm-3pm
Friday 24th May 2013 11am-1pm (Friends & Family Coffee Morning)

Contact: 0161 432 0532 or email for further details or to request a prospectus ahead of your visit.

Happy Easter!

Spring Open Days...

We'd like to invite prospective parents to our forthcoming Open Days on Thursday 18th April at 1pm-3pm and on Friday 24th May at 11am-1pm.

Both events are free to attend with no appointment necessary. Come and have a look around the school, meet our teachers and pupils, and ask any questions you may have over light refreshments.

Our 24th May Open Event will take the shape of an informal coffee morning to which visitors may bring friends and family along as well - current parents will also be available to talk to on the day and any money raised from the sale of tea and cakes will be split between school funds and a national charity.

If you'd like to be sent a prospectus in the meantime please call Lisa on 0161 432 0532 or email

We look forward to meeting you!

Hitting the high notes...

Congratulations to our Infant and Junior choir who took part in Heaton Mersey Youth Festival's choral competition last week. Our Junior choir came in second place whilst our Infant choir won a cup for coming first!

They sang five songs - Minka, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, Scoo Be Doo Song, English Country Gardens, and A Spoonful of Sugar during their performance at St John's Church... and for the first time ever, sang in two parts unaccompanied. Well done to you all!
