Mock Trial: The Princes in the Tower

In their History lessons, pupils in Years 5 and 6 have been looking at the War of the Roses. They have looked in detail at the case of the Princes in the Tower and considered the evidence as to what could have happened to the young princes.

To bring the case to life, pupils took part in a mock trial presided over by 'Judge Johnson'. Pupils took on roles of solicitors, barristers, policemen and defendant to try and figure out the answer to this famous mystery.

They enjoyed presenting the evidence to their peers, answering questions raised from the 'public gallery' and trying to convince Judge Johnson that their chosen defendant should be punished! We think we have a few lawyers in the making here; watch them in action and see what you think!
